10 Teams Submit Trade Offers for Eagles’ Tanner McKee — Market Heating Up Fast

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The quarterback carousel is spinning at high speed, and Tanner McKee’s name is right at the center. According to league sources, 10 NFL teams have officially submitted trade offers for the Philadelphia Eagles’ backup quarterback — igniting one of the most aggressive bidding wars of the offseason.

Inside the Eagles’ NovaCare Complex, the atmosphere was tense yet electric. McKee, who impressed during preseason reps with his sharp accuracy and poise under pressure, suddenly found himself fielding questions from every direction.

“I woke up to 27 missed calls,” McKee said with a grin. “I thought my phone was broken. Then my agent told me — ‘Tanner, you’re the hottest name on the market right now.’”

While the Eagles have remained tight-lipped, head coach Nick Sirianni addressed the situation at a press conference.
“Tanner’s a tremendous player and a great teammate,” Sirianni said. “Interest from other teams doesn’t surprise us. But we’re focused on the season ahead, and he’s part of our plan — until that changes.”

Among the rumored suitors are quarterback-needy squads like the Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, and Minnesota Vikings. One AFC scout, speaking anonymously, said, “He’s young, he’s smart, and he’s unshaken in the pocket. That’s rare. You don’t let a guy like that sit as a backup for long.”

When asked if he’d be open to a trade, McKee paused before answering.
“I love Philly. The fans here are passionate, and I’ve learned so much from Jalen Hurts and the coaching staff,” he said. “But I also want to play. Every quarterback dreams of leading a team.”

In the locker room, teammates rallied around him. Veteran center Jason Kelce joked, “If they trade Tanner, I’m going with him — I’ll be his personal bodyguard.”

With the trade market heating up and the clock ticking toward the season opener, the Eagles are now facing a decision that could shape not just their depth chart, but the future of multiple NFL franchises.

For now, Tanner McKee remains an Eagle. But if the offers keep climbing, that could change overnight.
