2 Eagles Stars Find Themselves Atop Elite Offseason List

After getting to 10-1 during the 2023 NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles seemed to be well on their way to reaching the Super Bowl for the second straight year, with everything starting to click for Jalen Hurts and company.

Unfortunately, instead of continuing to win games on a weekly basis, this is when the Eagles started to fall apart as everything went wrong for the NFC heavyweights in the final stretch of the season, resulting in the team flaming out in epic fashion during the NFL playoffs, where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers crushed them in the postseason.

Although the Eagles appeared to be a team that could be crumbling heading into the NFL offseason, the team seemed to have a new sense of purpose and got aggressive by making some solid moves, including signing star running back Saquon Barkley in NFL free agency.

Along with bringing in Barkley, the Eagles committed to superstar wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith with lucrative long-term contract extensions, which seems like a smart move, considering the team has arguably the best wide receiver duo in the league, according to Pro Football Network.

Even though there’s a lot of talent on this list, and there’s bound to be some debate about whether they got this ranking right, Philadelphia does have something special in the passing game and its overall offense.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Eagles committing to Brown and Smith long-term pays off for the storied franchise and whether the team can bounce back with a vengeance during the 2024 campaign.
