The New York Jets’ Madden ratings are trickling out for the 2025 edition of the game. Unsurprisingly, the numbers are trending on the lower side, including seventh overall pick Armand Membou being snubbed from the top 10 rookies.
However, the Jets managed to see three of their players finish with top 10 ratings at their positions.
CB Sauce Gardner (94)
Checking in with a 94 overall rating, Sauce Gardner is tied for the third-highest rating among cornerbacks in EA Sports’ Madden NFL 26.
Here are the top 10 cornerbacks.
- Patrick Surtain II, Denver Broncos (97)
- Christian Gonzalez, New England Patriots (95)
- Jalen Ramsey, Pittsburgh Steelers (94)
- Sauce Gardner, New York Jets (94)
- Trent McDuffie, Kansas City Chiefs (94)
- Derek Stingley Jr., Houston Texans (93)
- Marlon Humphery, Baltimore Ravens (93)
- Jaire Alexander, Baltimore Ravens (91)
- Denzel Ward, Cleveland Browns (90)
- Jaylon Johnson, Chicago Bears (89)
It represents a three-point decline for Gardner compared to a year ago, when his 97 overall rating placed first among cornerbacks in Madden NFL 25.
DT Quinnen Williams (91)
Even after a down year by his standards, Quinnen Williams remains one of the best tackles in the game. However, the ratings team certainly punished Williams for his decline in production. His 91 overall rating is only eighth among defensive tackles.
- Chris Jones, Kansas City Chiefs (97)
- Dexter Lawrence, New York Giants (97)
- Derrick Brown, Carolina Panthers (95)
- Cameron Heyward, Pittsburgh Steelers (94)
- Nnamdi Madubuike, Baltimore Ravens (93)
- Vita Vea, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (93)
- Jeffery Simmons, Tennessee Titans (92)
- Quinnen Williams, New York Jets (91)
- Jalen Carter, Philadelphia Eagles (90)
- DeForest Buckner, Indianapolis Colts (88)
Like Gardner, Williams suffered a three-point drop compared to last season, when he was rated a 94 overall.
LS Thomas Hennessy (73)
This year’s game features the long-awaited update of giving long snappers their own position. In previous titles, long snappers were usually labeled as tight ends, resulting in extremely low ratings that didn’t properly encapsulate how well they perform at their true positions.
Longtime Jets mainstay Thomas Hennessy is one of the top beneficiaries. His 73 overall rating is ninth-best at the position.
More top-10 players to come?
For now, these are the only three Jets players with top 10 ratings at their positions, but more ratings will be rolled out soon.
John Simpson and Alijah Vera-Tucker are candidates to rank top 10 among left guards and right guards, respectively (which are labeled separately in the game). Joe Tippmann may have an outside chance at placing top 10 among centers.
Nick Folk was snubbed from the top 10 kickers. After all, no NFL kicker has made a higher percentage of their field goal attempts since 2023.
Garrett Wilson is not a top 10 wide receiver, as those have already been revealed. The same goes for Breece Hall at running back and the Jamien Sherwood-Quincy Williams duo at Mike linebacker.
