49ers Star Caught On Leaked Video Attacking Cardinals Player In Street Clothes (Report)

The San Francisco 49ers suffered a heartbreaking loss in week five.  In front of San Francisco faithful, the Arizona Cardinals kicked a game winning field goal with under two minutes to go in the fourth quarter.  San Francisco would get the ball back, but a late interception sealed the game.

However, the final score wasn’t the only thing making headlines after the game.

On Sunday, during an on-field block battle between McBride and Niners cornerback Charvarius Ward that spilled onto the sideline, Greenlaw shoved Arizona tight end Trey McBride:

The player who tore his Achilles playing during the Super Bowl was not dressed in uniform, but still got involved in the scrap between two of his teammates. In order to separate McBride from Ward and get them away from the Niners bench, Cardinals receiver Greg Dortch came over to assist.

According to Alex Simon of SFGate:

Greenlaw wasn’t ejected on Sunday, but recent precedent should leave him expecting to lose some cash.

When the 49ers lost to the Rams in Los Angeles two weeks ago, Brandon Aiyuk was shoved by inactive Rams player Derion Kendrick in the middle of a skirmish after the final play. Kendrick was fined $5,656 for the shove and the Rams as a team were fined $100,000 because of Kendrick’s actions as an inactive player.

The Niners’ loss on the blisteringly hot Levi’s Stadium field was bad enough on Sunday. But now, both the team and their injured star linebacker seem set to lose in the pocketbook, too.
