One of the stories of the 2024 NFL season was A.J. Brown's sideline reading habits.
After the three-time Pro Bowler was spotted flipping through a few pages of a self-help book in order to help him "refocus" during games, the book and its author have since gone viral and Brown is now fully-embracing his reading persona.
Taking to social media over the weekend, Brown shared a photo of the books on his offseason reading list — and fans certainly appreciated it.
"Wassup guys, i'm excited to let you all in on my reading journey. Reading has become fun for me and another way I challenge myself to grow on a regular basis," the Super Bowl champion posted to X.
"Here are some books that I've read last year and the beginning of this year as well," he shared. "I've read majority of these books and I still have some work to do but I encourage you to find a book that may catch your interest. Get a hard copy or even a audiobook if that's easier and try to find something that challenge you so you can become a better version of yourself."
"The book that I'm currently reading is 'the courage to be dislike'. You guys should go check it out," Brown advised. "Feel free to leave any recommendations. Thanks. Stay tuned."
It's cool to see the Eagles star start his own little book club with NFL fans. Brown has said that football "90% mental and 10% physical for me" and reading has helped keep him locked in throughout his battles on Sundays.
"If I score a touchdown or drop a pass, it's something how I refocus," A.J. explained back in January. "I always revert back to the beginning of the book. It states if you can just have a clear mind and remember that nothing else matters, clear conscience, nothing matters negative or positive. You're willing to take risks. It also says if you're humble, you can't be embarrassed."
