Adrienne Maloof & Paul Nassif Share a Big Update on Their Son Gavin: "We Blinked and He Grew Up!"

It was a celebratory week for Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif.

On Thursday, June 19, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ex-couple hopped on Instagram to send heartfelt birthday wishes to their oldest son, Gavin Nassif. Adrienne posted a carousel that showed the now 22-year-old smiling before his white birthday cake decorated with green piping and assorted berries. The former Housewife concluded the post with an adorable throwback photo of herself and her firstborn.

“We blinked and he grew up!” she captioned the June 19 Instagram. “Still feels like yesterday. Happy Birthday, my sweet Gavin.”

Paul celebrated the occasion by posting a photo of his recent golf day with Gavin. The snap showed the father and son standing on the course alongside Paul and Adrienne’s youngest boys, 19-year-old twins Collin and Christian Nassif.

"Happy Birthday to my oldest, [Gavin],” Paul wrote. “I marvel at how amazing of a big brother you’ve become to all of your siblings. You truly make me so proud to be your father. There’s nobody like you; your kindness and empathy make everybody who meets you feel welcome and safe… I love you more than you know. ⁃ Dad.”

Fans got an update on Gavin back in May, when Adrienne chatted with Us Weekly at the “It’s Up to Us” women’s health event. She told the outlet that Gavin was enrolled at San Diego State University and was exploring a career in the movie industry. 

Collin and Christian are attending Southern Methodist University and the University of Southern California, respectively, and just completed their freshman year. Both students are members of the Sigma Chi fraternity and are studying business and finance. 

“They’re all in college now, so I’m an empty nester,” Adrienne said about her boys. “But they’re doing wonderful.”

While Adrienne is in full empty-nester mode, Paul still has plenty of time before he reaches that chapter. About seven years after divorcing Adrienne, the plastic surgeon tied the knot with Brittany Pattakos. The couple welcomed their first child together — a daughter named Paulina Anne Nassif  — in October 2020, and welcomed baby No. 2 — a son named Paul Michael Nassif Jr. — in January 2025. 

Paul reflected on his blended-family life in a June 15 Instagram post for Father’s Day. He shared photos of himself and his oldest boys, as well as a snap of him, Brittany, and their young kids.

“Not only is fatherhood my most important job, but it’s my favorite,” he wrote. “I’m so incredibly blessed to be a father of five; it’s the honor of a lifetime. Happy Father’s Day to all of the incredible dads out there! I love and miss you, dad.
