Prior to the game one of Detroit's walking wounded, linebacker Alex Anzalone, sent a clear and unmistakable message to Detroit fans in preparation for one of the biggest games of the season in the downtown area of the Motor City.

"Biggest game of the year tonight," Anzalone wrote. "So this needs to be the LOUDEST game of the year!!! LETS GO!!!"

Anzalone is third on the Lions in tackles this season behind second year linebacker Jack Campbell with 90 and second year safety Brian Branch with 67.

The ex-Florida Gators star Anzalone has 56 tackles including seven behind the line of scrimmage, one sack and four pass breakups, but the Lions will be without his services against the Packers tonight.

Packers star Josh Jacobs ranks third in the National Football League in rushing with 987 yards so far on the season, behind Derrick Henry of the Baltimore Ravens and Saquon Barkley of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jacobs trails those two players by 400-plus and 500-plus yards, respectively, while the Lions' running back duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery has combined for nearly 1,700 yards on the season amid several record-setting performances.
