Chiefs-Chargers in Brazilian (near) season-opener

It's already been disclosed that the Chiefs will be the visitors in São Paulo, Brazil in a season-opening (for them) game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The AFC West matchup will be the second official game of the season, following the Eagles versus the Dallas Cowboys on the Thursday night kickoff to the regular season on September 4.

However, that makes life extremely tough for the Chiefs to maintain their level of regular-season success. Last year, they won 15 of 17 games, and one of those losses included rolling over for the Broncos in a meaningless Week 18.

That said, the Chiefs' point differential of +59 wasn't all that convincing for many analysts, and given the gauntlet of a much-improved AFC West in recent years, K.C. could have a harder time than they have in years to win the division.
