Annemarie Wiley Says Doctors Found a “Tumor” on Her “Gallstones” and “Gallbladder” as She Confirms She's Having Surgery

Back in August, Annemarie shared that she received some “alarming news,” but she didn’t give details at the time. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is a nurse anesthetist, and she was on the show for one season before announcing her exit.

In a September 22 Instagram video, Annemarie explained she’ll be having surgery after physicians found a “tumor” on her “gallstones” and “gallbladder.”

“The gallbladder will be coming out very soon,” she said. “The surgeons were very concerned about there being tumors on my liver, so we had an MRI last week, and the MRI did not show any visible tumors or anything anywhere else.”

“So that was incredible news. Surgery is scheduled for very soon. Gallbladder will come out, they’ll send it to pathology and slice it up, and look at it under the microscope and then that’s when we’ll know if it is cancerous, malignant, or non-cancerous benign. So, I’m super optimistic, the surgeons are super optimistic,” she continued, urging her fans to “prioritize” mental health.

“I can’t even begin to express how much your love and support mean to me 💖 I’m feeling strong and optimistic that this journey will soon be behind me with a positive outcome – If sharing my experience encourages even one person to listen to their body and advocate for themselves, that brings me so much joy,” she wrote in the caption of the video.

She also urged followers to focus on “what nourishes you.”

“Guys- please prioritize your mental health and minimize stress – stress can do awful things to our bodies! Focus on what nourishes you: exercise, meditate, stay off social media when needed, and remove toxic situations and people from your life,” she said. “Your health is your most valuable asset, so protect it fiercely 🤎 … I’ll keep you all updated. Thank you all for checking on me and lifting me up 🙏🏽💖.”

Season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to air later this year or in early 2025.
