The proposition seems likelier than ever, but one of the teams at the top of the NFL Draft is giving Sanders more consideration.

The New York Giants have a private workout scheduled with Sanders ahead of the NFL Draft to go back over the top quarterback targets. It had been reported they were leaning towards going with a non-quarterback and circling back around in the second round for a quarterback option.

They signed Russell Wilson this offseason, but still need a quarterback for the future. Sanders could be an option. However, on Monday, NFL insider Albert Breer did not expect Sanders to land in the top ten of the NFL Draft.

“Anyway, I don’t think Sanders is going in the top three. And at this point, it feels like it’d be surprising if the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets or Saints took him in the top 10,” Breer said.

Former NFL football player and close friend of Deion, Louis Riddick, thinks the Sanders camp does not want Shedeur heading to one of those teams picking in the top three.

“I hope he doesn’t go in the top three picks,” Riddick said regarding Shedeur on First Take. “I hope he doesn’t. And I think his camp would tell you the same thing. There are other teams they want to go to.”

Sanders’ pre-draft visit with the Steelers wrapped up on Thursday. He is one of four quarterbacks to visit the team during the pre-draft cycle, along with Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart, Syracuse’s Kyle McCord, and Louisville’s Tyler Shough
