Bachelor Nation’s Peter Kraus Engaged to Girlfriend Hana Ostapchuk After One Year of Dating

Peter Kraus has found his forever rose in Hana Ostapchuk.

The Bachelorette alum, who competed on season 13 of the ABC reality series, rang in the holiday weekend by popped the question to his girlfriend in the most romantic way.

“We are ENGAGED,” Peter captioned a July 3 Instagram post alongside a series of photos from their engagement aboard a private boat. “Throughout it all, it was always you. I just had to find you. I love you.”

And to make the sweet moment even more special, fireworks could be seen lighting up the sky behind them.

“Words cannot express the love and happiness we feel,” he continued. “Last night was truly magical and only possible because of an amazing support system of incredible people in our lives! We are so thankful.”

To celebrate the couple’s exciting news, Dean Unglert and Adam Gottschalk—who both competed on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette alongside Peter—extended their congratulations in the comments.

“Congrats dood,” Dean gushed, while Adam added, “The journey, the pictures, the next chapter, congrats man.”

Peter and Hana’s new chapter together comes just nine months after the 40-year-old debuted their romance in a sweet social media post.

“This is where it all begins,” Peter wrote on Instagram in October 2025 alongside adorable photos of the pair on a boat and at a golf driving range.

Prior to that, Peter first graced TV screens back in 2017 as one of Rachel’s final two suitors before she got engaged to Bryan Abasolo during the season finale. The winning pair then tied the knot in 2019 until the chiropractor filed for divorce from the lawyer in December 2023. The couple settled their divorce after a lengthy legal battle a year later.

"I thought about reaching out just as a support system being like, 'We went through this experience together,'” Peter said after learning of Rachel and Bryan’s divorce during a January 2024 episode of the She’s All Bach podcast. “We're forever connected in that way, whether it's for the good, or the bad, or whatever I don't know. But realized that wasn't my place."

After all, he and Rachel didn’t keep in touch after their time together.

"I'm not a part of her life anymore, she's not a part of my life anymore," he continued. "You would never reach out to an ex during a breakup in real life. Maybe you would, I wouldn't."
