Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay offense are having a nice day on Thursday Night Football, putting up 27 points through three quarters. Another field goal was added but there was a downside. Mayfield was awkwardly tackled on a sack, getting twisted.
While the quarterback immediately got up, there was a limp to the sideline. No exact injury has been identified but the replay shows something in the leg area for Mayfield. Potentially on the right side while attempting to avoid a sack.

“Baker Mayfield was slow to walk off the field after that last drive,” Amazon’s Kaylee Hartung said shortly after the incident. “You saw him hobbling on his right knee. Since then he’s been back on the bench, he’s had his head in the iPad, sitting next to Liam Coen, his offensive coordinator.
“He just stood up for the first time. He’s kinda waved off any medical attention, taken a few steps up and down right now. Doesn’t look as serious as it looked like it could have been when he first got hit.”
