The Denver Broncos are not in action in Week 14 as the entire squad gets a much-needed mid-season break in their bye week.
The Broncos have a lot of momentum on their side at the moment after recording three straight wins, which they capped off with a 41-32 victory at home against the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.
Bo Nix has been integral to the success of the 8-5 Broncos, who are currently battling the 8-4 Los Angeles Chargers (LA is in action on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs) for the second spot in the AFC West.
The 24-year-old has had a noteworthy rookie campaign for the Broncos, with his 17 touchdowns leading the pack among all first-year quarterbacks. At this point, the former Auburn star is considered one of the strongest challengers for the Rookie of the Year title behind No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders.
Nix's wife, Izzy Nix, also made headlines of late, although it wasn't exactly for the right reason. On Sunday, a Broncos fan page on Facebook called Orange Crush Force reported that the couple is expected to make a "BIG announcement" about their supposed nine-week pregnancy.
Izzy Nix caught wind of the post, and she took it upon herself to nip the rumor in the bud.
"To save us from another congratulations text... this is FAKE NEWS 😂" she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Izzy Nix herself has come out to deny the rumor and has made it abundantly clear that she is not, in fact, pregnant.
To be fair to the 26-year-old former Auburn cheerleader, she opted to take the false report lightly. Instead of making a strong statement about the post, Izzy Nix decided to just laugh at it and move on.
According to People, Bo and Izzy Nix met in June 2020 while they were both attending Auburn University. The former Tigers star QB proposed to his then-girlfriend at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn just a year after they met.
The two tied the knot in their home state of Alabama on July 2, 2022, and they have since been happily married. While having kids might be part of their future plans, the fact of the matter is that the Nixes are currently not expecting.
For now, Bo Nix is focused on his football. He will be looking to keep his foot on the gas when the Broncos return to action on Sunday, Dec. 15, in a home game against the Indianapolis Colts.
