With only a month left, Mike Tyson has chosen to share some training footage ahead of his bout with Jake Paul, although things may not be as they appear.
The contentious boxing match between the two stars is set for Friday, November 15 in Arlington, Texas at the ATandT Stadium, potentially drawing up to 90,000 spectators. Tyson hasn't participated in a professional fight since 2005, when he was defeated by Kevin McBride.
The American's most recent fight was an exhibition against fellow boxing icon Roy Jones Jr, held privately four years ago. As for Paul, 'The Problem Child' has been consistently active since his debut in 2020. He triumphed over former UFC fighter Mike Perry in his latest match back in July.
Tyson was originally slated to face the social media sensation in July, but the boxing titan had to delay his comeback due to an inflamed ulcer. The American was instructed to cease training by his doctor but has since returned to the gym and assures he will be prepared to step into the ring next month.
As both men approach the final phases of their individual training camps, they have been relatively silent about posting footage on social media. However, with less than 50 days remaining, Tyson recently decided to use Instagram to showcase his preparation for the match.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has posted a video clip of Mike Tyson training on the pads was posted to his social media account with the caption: "Final stretch. Less than 50 days left."
However, many fans noticed that the footage was not new. Since pulling out in July, the boxer has chosen not to post training clips to his social media accounts ahead of the November date.
Despite some eagle-eyed fans spotting that the footage is outdated, there were a fair few who had their say on the clip. One user wrote: "He got faster.. oh ya Jake cooked."
While another commented: 'Yeah Jake might be in trouble.
While many were quick to praise and support the former heavyweight world champion, there are still a few doubters. "Yes he looked this fast on the pads before he fought jones JR but he was mad slow during the actual fight. I still think Mike is one of the greatest boxing figures but he should stay retired," a fan posted.
"He's not half as good as he used to be 20 years ago. He's too old," one fan wrote. Another commented: "Jake Paul WILL knock out Mike Tyson. A third posted: "This is so ridiculous nobody is going to pay money to see you fall on the floor."
Tyson's recent revelations have left his fans doubting his commitment to his upcoming bout. In a candid exchange with Jimmy Kimmel, Tyson confessed that his daily training only begins at 11am and may stretch until 5pm, stating: "I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm." Kimmel, taken aback, sought clarification: "Oh no. 11am? So that's six hours straight, or is there a lunch break?
To which Tyson conceded he does indeed take a brief pause, eliciting a stunned reaction from Kimmel: "Oh no. Further stirring controversy during the same interview, when questioned about using cannabis on the day of the fight with Paul, Tyson enigmatically responded: "I'm going to be so high off life, yeah.
Not satisfied, Kimmel pressed on about marijuana use, with Tyson intriguingly hinting: "That's a possibility, too. " This prompted Kimmel to joke apprehensively: "Oh no my bet is getting lower as we talk."
