Brad Marchand has a message for Jeremy Swayman amid contract dispute

Jeremy Swayman and the Boston Bruins are currently in a pretty big contract dispute that could put the goalie's time with the team in jeopardy.

Report: Jeremy Swayman Turned Down Bruins Offer : r/Bruins

Overall, it has been reported that Swayman is looking for upwards of $10 million per year. However, other reports have suggested that the Bruins are only willing to give him four years and $6.2 million per year. This makes the two sides far apart and the fans are worried that a deal will never get done.

Recently, Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand spoke out about all of this. As he explained, he is looking forward to seeing Swayman back on the team. He understands that with fans and the media, this is a big story. However, he just wants to focus on hockey and getting his goaltender back.

'It's a big topic of conversation with the fans and the media, and this is part of the business, and we all are really looking forward to when it does get done and the process is over and he is back with the group,' said Marchand. 'But that's obviously out of our hands and we don't get involved in any of that. So it'll be great when everything gets kind of squared away.'

This situation is starting to get a bit out of hand, and Bruins fans are nervous about what is going to happen next. They have every right to feel that way, and it will be interesting to see if there is a resolution sometime soon. If you are a Bruins fan, all you can do is hope, pray, and wait.
