Brandi Glanville has suffered greatly at the hands of public comments. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been dealing with a mystery illness for the past two years. It’s left her disfigured and emotionally defeated.
She gives her followers regular updates on potential treatments and breakthroughs. Sadly though, more recently Brandi has admitted to isolating herself due to do all the cruel comments about her appearance. Earlier this year, she was feeling “worse than ever.”
Brandi Glanville is dealing with a lot of online trolls
Brandi posted to Twitter to explain her recent silence, which is unlike her as she has a podcast and is usually active on social media. The former RHOBH star explained that “cruel comments” had her feeling like she needed to be in a safe space.
“I haven’t posted much on any social site lately because I’m hiding out and don’t want to deal with the cruel comments on my appearance,’ she revealed in a post to Twitter.
But the isolation had Brandi rethinking her priorities. She decided to show her true appearance from now on and not rely on “filters and heavy edits.” It’s an admirable position to take in response to the haters.
“But I’ll be posting and sharing authentically without all the filters and heavy edits … See you there and don’t forget to turn on your notifications for the daily drops,” the reality TV star explained. “It’s been a minute since I posted on Patreon, but I’m going back and will be interacting on there again.”
In a shocking update, the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum updated her medical expenses to “over $113,000.” That’s included out-of-network consultations, medications, and hospital visits as Brandi battles to find relief and answers.
For her part, Brandi believes that she is plagued by a “parasite” that “jumps around” her face. The Bravolebrity thinks she contracted it in while in Morocco filming RHUGT.
Earlier this year, she met with Dr. Terry Dubrow. He took a biopsy of her face, hoping to get some answers. The Botched star suggested it might take five years for Brandi to recover and be “totally fine.”
“Five years is way too long for me to wait,” the reality star said on her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast before admitting that she was looking for a second opinion.
