The Washington Capitals released their rookie camp roster as it's just around the corner at McMullen Hockey Arena in Annapolis, Maryland. Per the Caps a total of 20 players will be in attendance including 10 Capitals draft picks. The complete lineup includes 12 forwards, five defensemen and three goalies. All on ice sessions at McMullen Hockey Arena will be open to the public and free of charge.
Among the Caps rookies that are scheduled to participate include 2024 first round pick Terik Parascak, Andrew Cristall, Alexander Suzdalev, Ilya Protas, and Zac Funk.

Friday September 13 10:30 a.m. goalies on the ice followed by 11-12:30 p.m. practice at Brigade Sports Complex which is where all the sessions will be. It'll be the same times on Saturday the 14th through Monday the 16th right ahead of training camp.
The big player to watch if you're attending is none other than Terik Parascak who is the Caps 2024 first round draft pick. The 18 year old spent the 2023-24 season with the Prince George Cougars of the WHL recording 105 points in 68 regular seasons games. He led all CHL rookies in goals and points and was named to the 2024 CHL All Rookie Team. Since the 2000-01 season only Patrick Kane, Sidney Crosby and Sam Gagner recorded more points as a CHL rookie per the Rookie Camp guide.
Another player to watch is Andrew Cristall who was the Caps second round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft who will be attending his second Rookie Camp. He was named to the WHL B.C. Division Second All-Star Team after recording 111 points in 62 games with 40 goals and 71 assists with the Kelowna Rokets of the WHL last season.
Another one to watch is Ilya Protas who's the younger brother of Aliaksei Protas who was drafted by the Caps with the 75th overall pick in this year's NHL Draft. Aliaksei was taken 91st overall in 2019 and the Protas brothers are the second set of brothers in franchise history to be selected by the Caps joining Yvon Corriveau at 19th overall in 1985 and Rick Corriveau at 168th overall in 1991.
