Breaking: Former Packers Star Officially Hits Trade Block

The Green Bay Packers are seeing another one of their former stars hit the trade block.  Over the last three off-seasons Green Bay has completely altered the direction of their franchise.  That new-look Packers team has made the playoffs in back to back seasons.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur surveys practice on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Ray Nitschke Field in Green Bay, Wis.

However, could Green Bay consider brining back a former legend?

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:

Sources: The #Jets are now taking calls on star WR Davante Adams, open to trading him prior to the start of the league year. No surprise with his $38.2M cap number.

If they can’t get a deal, they are expected to release Adams, who could rejoin QB Aaron Rodgers with a new team.
