Brittany Cartwright is making some exciting changes to her house following her split from Jax Taylor.
On October 20, The Valley cast member revealed she was transforming the gym in the home she used to share with Jax in the San Fernando Valley (Jax has since moved into a new townhouse).
"The next project I'm working on is making my home gym as cute and girly as I possibly can so I actually want to stay in here!" Brittany joked, bringing her followers into the in-progress space. Brittany swapped out her gym's old black mat for a bright and bold area rug with pink, purple, blue, and orange colors.
"I know it's bare right now, but I have a couple of different weights and machines coming in," the Kentucky native shared, pointing out her treadmill and weight bench in the space.
In addition to the colorful area rug, Brittany also added a few framed black-and-white photos and a light-up purple barbell on the wall. "I want to make it really girly and cute," she shared, pointing to a classic photo of Marilyn Monroe lifting a barbell. "I'm gonna do a whole collage wall of a bunch of strong, beautiful women working out. I love that!"
As for the other wall opposite the treadmill, Brittany revealed she's going to put up a "mirror wall" and mount a TV.
"It's gonna be cute when I finish and everything comes in," Brittany concluded. "I'm getting excited. Now I just gotta keep my booty in here"
Brittany Cartwright's Old Home Gym
In the video tour above, filmed prior to Jax and Brittany's split, Jax noted the gym was a "spare room" they changed into a home gym during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Obviously [with] having a baby it's just hard to get to the gym on time, so having one in your house just makes life a little easier," Jax shared in the video, which gave us more views of the workout space that included numerous dumbbells, kettle bells, workout machines and more.
Additionally, in the photos below from February, Brittany took a few mirror selfies while working out, revealing how the space was decorated before.
It appears she's making the space all her own with those feminine touches!
