Broncos Miss Out on Super Bowl MVP; Could Target Another MVP

Former Super Bowl MVP and wide receiver Cooper Kupp looked to find a new team sooner than later after being released by the Los Angeles Rams. Five teams were on Kupp’s list for him to potentially go to, including the Denver Broncos.

ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter reported the day after his release that Kupp would like to play for the Broncos if given the equal pay choice.

Two days after being released by the Rams, Kupp signed with the Seattle Seahawks on a three-year, $45 million deal. This is another tough break for the Broncos, as the limited salary cap is a significant reason they lucked out on Kupp.

The Broncos would have given second-year quarterback Bo Nix another reliable playmaker at wide receiver.

Denver looks to add more veteran talent and leaders to the roster. Despite losing Kupp to the Seahawks, there is still one more Super Bowl MVP the Broncos can turn to.

The Broncos have a chance to bring back their Super Bowl MVP in outside linebacker Von Miller, who the Buffalo Bills released on Mar. 9.

Miller will be 36 in less than two weeks. He is coming off a six-sack and seven-tackle-for-loss season in which he played in 13 games with the best days of his career behind him.

The Broncos could sign Miller as a veteran presence on the team and create a spark in some of the teammates he used to play with. He could be back in a Broncos uniform for the first time since Nov. 2021, when he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams.
