The NFL hopes to have the 2025 schedule finalized in mid-May.
While the Browns' opponents have been known for a while now, the actual schedule of when Cleveland will play those opponents remains to be determined.
Now we know.
The NFL's vice president of broadcast planning appeared on the It's Always Gameday in Buffalo podcast and gave the tentative dates of May 13, 14 or 15 for a schedule release date.
"No set date because, really, you never know," he said (via John Breech of CBS Sports). "If by some miracle, we're done on May 7 and we present one to the boss [Roger Goodell] and the commissioner says, 'Hey, this is perfect, I wouldn't change a thing, guys.' We're done. Pencils down. If so, probably no reason to sit on it."
The Browns will play their regular games against AFC North opponents, including home and away tilts against the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cleveland will see home games against the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers.
The Browns will see away games against the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, and Las Vegas Raiders.
The only things we do know about the 2025 schedule is that the Eagles will open the new season on Sept. 4 and the Los Angeles Chargers will begin their season in São Paulo, Brazil on Sept. 5.
