Browns HC Kevin Stefanski unsure who is playing left tackle on Sunday

The Cleveland Browns are facing the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 on Sunday afternoon.  At this point, everything should be buttoned up and ready to go.  Isn't that right?

Wrong, the Browns have a huge problem already.  A lack of healthy left tackles cannot make Deshaun Watson, returning from shoulder surgery that curtailed his 2023 season, feel great.

The "GMFB" hosts preview what to expect in the Week 1 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.

Jedrick Wills just starting practicing late this week.  He is also recovering from a long-term knee injury and is not ready to play. Jack Conklin is a logical choice to move over to left tackle.  He is questionable with a knee injury.

Coach Kevin Stefanski did not provide clarity on the situation.  He said the team will work through this issue in the next 48 hours.  That seems obvious because the game is in 48 hours.  He also said it could be a rotating left tackle situation with James Hudson and Conklin in play to fill the role.

Starting the season with a question mark on Deshaun Watson's blind side with Micah Parson across the line of scrimmage is less than ideal.
