Browns Injury Report spells trouble

The Cleveland Browns travel to Empower Field at Mile High for a Week 13 matchup against the 7-5 Denver Broncos.

Browns Injury Report spells trouble

While Cleveland rides the momentum of a 24-19 win over Pittsburgh, injuries to critical players cast a shadow over their preparation.

Quarterback Jameis Winston led the Browns to victory last week, throwing for 219 yards, including 112 outside the pocket. His ability to extend plays will be essential against Denver’s dominant defense, which ranks third in total yards allowed (296 per game) and second in points allowed (16.8 per game).

Winston’s connection with running back Nick Chubb, who scored the game-sealing touchdown against Pittsburgh, will be critical for Cleveland’s success.

However, the Browns face significant obstacles, with multiple players listed on the injury report.

Browns Injury Report:

Full Participant (FP):

  • Joel Bitonio (G, Elbow)
  • Maurice Hurst (DT, Shoulder)
  • Jerry Jeudy (WR, Knee)

Limited Participant (LP):

  • Myles Harden (CB, Tibia)
  • Germain Ifedi (G, Biceps)
  • Greg Newsome II (CB, Abdomen)

Did Not Participate (DNP):

  • Sam Kamara (DE, Head)
  • Geoff Swaim (TE, Concussion)
  • Cedric Tillman (WR, Concussion)
  • Juan Thornhill (S, Calf)
  • Jedrick Wills (T, Knee)

The Broncos, meanwhile, report fewer issues, though standout cornerback Riley Moss remains a DNP.

Cleveland’s offense ranks 29th in total yards (292.5 per game) and points scored (16.9 per game), underscoring the need for a near-perfect effort against Denver’s high-pressure pass rush.

For the Browns, overcoming adversity has been a theme this season, and Week 13 provides another opportunity to prove their resilience.
