It was a disastrous season for the Cleveland Browns, who placed last in the AFC North, going 3-14, marking their third losing season in four years.
The poor record makes sense, knowing they were extremely inefficient on both sides of the ball, ranking 32nd in points per game (15.2) and 27th in points per game allowed (25.6).
Some of the few bright spots on the team, though, were wide receiver Amari Cooper and offensive guard Joel Bitonio, who were the Browns' only offensive players to make the Pro Bowl.
However, there were rumors that this would be Bitonio's final year in the league until the Browns announced via social media that he'd be returning for his 12th season.
This is big news for the Browns after Pro Football Focus gave Bitonio a 63.9 overall grade (56th/135 guards) and a pass-blocking grade of 70.2 (35th/135 guards) in 2024.
Throughout his 11-year career, which has all come with Cleveland, Bitonio has been named to seven Pro Bowls, all coming in consecutive years, twice named First-Team All-Pro, and three times named Second-Team All-Pro.
Whether it's a rookie quarterback they take with the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft or Deshaun Watson, who has two years left under contract, taking a bulk of the team's snaps in 2025, Bitonio is a valuable asset to have back.
