The Cleveland Browns offensive line was an absolute mess last season. Poor play and injuries affected the play under center by Deshaun Watson and others who succeeded him after his season-ending injury.

Now, one of those early-season injuries has resulted in a surgery.

On Thursday, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported that Browns tackle Dawand Jones recently had an arthroscopic procedure on his knee that was intended to repair a lingering issue he had during 2024.

The 23-year-old Jones suffered a fractured fibula in November that took him off the field for the remainder of the season after moving to left tackle to begin the year.

Jones was a fourth-round pick by the Browns in 2023 and has appeared in 21 games with 17 starts over two campaigns in Cleveland.

The former Ohio State Buckeye is expected to be fully recovered by the start of training camp in June and should be ready for the new season in 2025.

He could be a huge boost for a team that needs depth along the offensive line in the coming years as the team attempts to find its next quarterback.
