The Cleveland Browns have several roster spots that they'll need to attend to this offseason, not the least of which is quarterback. But they can't neglect other offensive units in the process.
One of the biggest question marks of 2025 will be running back. Nick Chubb appears ready to play in 2025, but where will it be?
After his 2023 season ended prematurely in Week 2 with a devastating knee injury, Chubb missed all of last offseason and most of 2024. He ended the year with 102 carries for 332 yards and three touchdowns.
The former Georgia Bulldog will be a free agent in a couple of weeks and says he's ready to contribute - wherever he ends up.
“I feel good and I’ve definitely been through a lot last two years,” Chubb said, via On3. “So I’m trying to bounce back. Things happen. I came back, broke my foot. It is what it is. I’m healthy now.
"New season, I have a full offseason. ... I’m back to my training. So I’m feeling good, looking forward to getting healthy and getting back out there."
Chubb had four seasons of more than 1,000 yards on the ground, including his best year in 2022 when he carried the ball 302 times for 1,525 yards and 12 scores. He's proven he can be a weapon when healthy. But that's the big question.
Can Chubb stay healthy?
He'll most likely have to prove that capability to his next team on a one-year deal for less money than he might be worth. But if he does, his next payday could be big.
