Browns’ Shelby Harris dropped a bold statement about Myles Garrett that is bad news for the rest of the NFL

Last season, Myles Garrett finally had everything come together for his first Defensive Player of the Year award. Now, it is all about trying to do it again.

Browns’ Shelby Harris dropped a bold statement about Myles Garrett that is bad news for the rest of the NFL

One of Garrett’s teammates gave a quote on Wednesday that should have some teams worried around the NFL.

While Garrett is already an All-Pro and probably the best defensive player in the NFL as a whole, one of his veteran teammates believes that he has another level to tap into.

Shelby Harris was asked if it is scary that Garrett may be able to tap into another level and he has the perfect answer.

“It’s not scary for me, it's scary for the league,” Harris said jokingly but seriously. “That’s the thing, Myles can be the best player in the world, like ever. It’s just a matter of tapping into that potential. But he’s already shown, you’re talking about the former DPOY has more levels to it.”

Last season, Garrett had 14.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and a blocked kick for the Browns. Garrett was a game-wrecker at some key moments for the Browns and the win over the Indianapolis Colts may have been his best game. In each of the previous two seasons, Garrett registered 16 sacks each. It Is not hard to see why he is a five-time All-Pro.

Garrett still having another level to tap into could lead to a 20-sack season perhaps, if he can reach it. The Browns’ star pass rusher is well on his way to ending up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and another DPOY season would all but seal that. At his size, with his speed, and the bend that he brings, there really aren’t any other players in the NFL like Garrett.

Cleveland will soon unleash Garrett again and his first task will be to get after Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. If they are listening to anything Harris has to say, they’ve been warned.
