Mayfield is coming off a career year, completing 71.4% of his passes for 4,500 yards, 41 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions. He posted a 106.8 passer rating, and on Monday, the Buccaneers reacted to the NFL’s reveal that Mayfield has officially been ranked No. 50 on the NFL Top 100 list.

Baker Mayfield has had a very interesting journey throughout the NFL since being drafted No. 1 overall by the Cleveland Browns in 2018.

He spent four seasons with the Browns before brief stints with the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams—moves many believed might signal the end of his time as a starting quarterback in the league.

However, Mayfield found his footing in Tampa Bay, where he’s since become the franchise quarterback and has played like it over his first two seasons with the organization
