Bucky Irving gets brutally honest about Rachaad White trade rumors

Going back a little while now, there has been some buzz about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers potentially trading running back Rachaad White.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Bucky Irving

Well, one NFL personality took it upon herself to shut it all down with the help from another Bucs running back, second-year pro Bucky Irving.

Kay Adams welcomed Irving onto the latest episode of Up & Adams and had to address these rumors of his teammate potentially being dealt.

Immediately, Irving seemed displeased by the idea and took Adams' lead in shutting it down.

Bucky Irving did more than just shut down the Rachaad White trade rumors

"Nah, man. I feel like he's good where he's at. It's a great one-two punch.

"We got a lot of great running backs in our room that could go anywhere and be starters," he said.

Irving went on to talk about how the running backs in that room go out there and take advantage of their snaps. He also stated that there is not even a clear starter within the room, and that's how they view it, adding:

"You got to go out there and compete for your brother."

Additionally, he alluded to the fact that he is used to playing alongside great running backs dating back to his time at Oregon. Irving definitely gave off an extremely selfless vibe and genuinely believed the Bucs' running back room needs to stay together.

For Bucs fans, it was as heartwarming an answer as we could have asked for.

The type of attitude from Irving is not always seen in today's NFL, but his team-first attitude and willingness to watch his "brothers" shine speaks volumes.

And, for opposing defenses, it's straight-up bad news. Why would the Bucs try and fix what isn't broken?

This is a Buccaneers offense which finished fourth in the NFL in rushing yards last season, and that was all while mixing a rookie like Irving into the scheme.

Now, after these guys have been in the same running back room for a year, we should expect even bigger things from Irving, White and Sean Tucker.
