The Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster is seen as one of the better ones in the NFC, with the offense led by Baker Mayfield one of the best units in football.
With the draft coming up in a little under two weeks, there is a clear defensive emphasis on where the Buccaneers will focus their intentions. Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell is the player most linked to the Buccaneers.
But with a clear defensive theme to their draft plans, the Buccaneers also need some corner and defensive line help too, with the need for Todd Bowles' defense to get more bite, a clear one.
Haason Reddick was signed to help, but more is needed, and for one national site, Tampa Bay's ideal draft scenario sees one of three stud defensive linemen come to the NFC South champs.
"Coach Todd Bowles would do wonders if Tampa Bay selects a few defensive lineman from Texas A&M such as Shemar Stewart, Nic Scourton and Shemar Turner. That must have been a beefy front in College Station," the site says.
Getting some defensive line help from Turner, and pass rushing firepower from Stewart or Scourton would give Bowles some more pieces to play around with.
Vita Vea, Reddick, Yaya Diaby and Logan Hall provide some nice juice, but add in the re-signed Lavonte David and one of the three mentioned above, and now the Buccaneers' defense has some more bite to its bark.
Seen as one of the teams with hardly any roster "holes" the Buccaneers can afford to go BPA "best player available" on defense and any of the three they select will instantly improve them as a unit.
It would be great to get one, but three? Somewhere in this draft? That truly is dreamland stuff.
