Caitlin Clark Reveals Truth About Watching Chiefs Game With Taylor Swift

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark will never forget about her experience watching a Kansas City Chiefs game with pop star Taylor Swift, who also happens to be the girlfriend of NFL tight end Travis Kelce.

That much is clear in her latest interview with Bustle while promoting her new ad with State Farm.

Clark attended the Chiefs' divisional round showdown against the Houston Texans last January after Swift invited her. The two sat alongside each other and cheered and celebrated as Kansas City went on to win the contest, 23-14.

While Clark has been a lifelong Chiefs fan and has watched the Kansas City franchise play multiple times in the past, she admitted that attending a game with Swift was a whole different experience.

"Getting to be there and spend time with her, doing something that I really, really love—you’re sharing a common joy," Clark told Bustle.

"I grew up the biggest Chiefs fan, [living] two-and-a-half hours from their stadium. I went to a game every single year growing up. Getting to sit in a box and cheer for the Chiefs with Taylor, that’s on another level. But that’s what’s so beautiful about sports: It brings a lot of people together."

It will definitely be interesting to see if Caitlin Clark will have another chance to watch a Chiefs game with Taylor Swift. Considering their newfound friendship, though, it's very much a possibility.

As fans know, after Clark attended Swift's "Eras Tour" concert in Indianapolis back in November 2024, the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker gave her four merchandise bags. In the same Bustle interview, the Fever guard revealed that she now has "every sweatshirt" and "Eras T-shirt in about every color and size."

For now, Clark is focused on her second season in the WNBA, while Swift and her boyfriend are spending their downtime to rest and enjoy their personal lives—away from the spotlight.
