Cam Heyward just got hilariously roasted by a Steelers rookie

This comment from Derrick Harmon was priceless.

On Tuesday, Cam Heyward posted another episode of the Not Just Football Podcast. This time, Heyward was joined by Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick, Derrick Harmon, to discuss what it was like being drafted, what it was like when Oregon beat Ohio State in 2024, the hardest part of the transfer portal, and more.

Throughout the sitdown, Harmon let his personality shine as he joked with his new teammate. Heyward's podcast co-host, Hayden Walsh, asked Harmon which players he looked up to when he was younger, and his response was priceless.

"This man right here," Harmon said, pointing to Cam Heyward. "No, for real. That's true, that's true... But it was him in the run, because pass rush, uh..."

Heyward's baffled expression was priceless, and the All-Pro chimed in with an emphatic, "What?". Harmon took a little jab at Heyward's pass rush chops, but insisted he was 'just playing'.

This playful banter is what fans love to see, and just like Heyward before him, Harmon's fun-loving personality is easy to root for.

The Pittsburgh Steelers found themselves a future fan-favorite in Derrick Harmon

Since before even being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Derrick Harmon has given football fans every reason to root for his success. Harmon was professional and respectful during NFL Combine interviews, and scouts spoke volumes about his character.

Harmon's flood of emotions when he was drafted by the Steelers left us in tears as he was soon forced to mourn the passing of his mother. Despite his tragic circumstances, Harmon didn't part with his positive, uplifting personality. His playful banter with Heyward during the Not Just Football podcast was an example of this.

This is going to make him an easy fan-favorite on the Steelers for years to come.

Along with his lovable personality, Harmon is a fun player to watch with his rare combination of speed, quickness, and length for an interior defender. The 21-year-old was only beginning to scratch the surface in one season with the Oregon Ducks before entering the NFL Draft, and the sky is the limit to what he could be at the next level.

He hasn't even played a snap in the NFL yet, and already Derrick Harmon has kept us entertained.
