Can Bills Steal Eagles Super Bowl Blueprint?

It wasn't so long ago that both the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles were one in the same. Their fanbases had to live through tormented playoff exits and embarrassing seasons.

For the Bills, their four straight runs to the Super Bowl in the 90s without a title victory still haunts the organization to this day. The Eagles, their five conference title game run in nine seasons without so much as a win in the game was just as hurtful.

The difference between the two fanbases now is that one group has seen their team reach the top of the mountain.

Philadelphia has claimed two Super Bowl wins in the last eight seasons - a run that includes victories over the best quarterbacks of the era in both Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady.

Bills fans can look on with envy. In a way, the Eagles snake-bitten past is all but exonerated now.

But what Philadelphia has provided is sort of a rallying cry for a team like Buffalo.

Especially with their team already so close to reaching the top. Buffalo has struggled to find ways to get past the Kansas City Chiefs and Mahomes throughout the years. Grueling playoff losses doesn't help the matter.

But with the Eagles recent success, it shows a snake-bitten team can eventually find their way back to the top and finally taste the sweet sense of victory as the last organization standing.

Bills fans may not want to hear it, but they are still very close to a title. And the Eagles can provide them with the exact kind of rallying cry they need to finally end their Super Bowl drought.
