The Boston Celtics are finally back home after an unbelievably successful road trip. They went 6-0 against all Western Conference opponents, but now, they’ll take on the Miami Heat at TD Garden for their first home game in a couple of weeks. But it may not be a fully healthy affair.

As Boston continues to maintain their spot as the two seed, the Heat are grappling for positioning in the Play-In Tournament. A massive losing streak was recently snapped with a big-time winning streak, just in time for them to play the Celtics. They’ll enter TD Garden on the back of five wins in a row.

  • Kevin love OUT (personal reasons)
  • Duncan Robinson OUT (left sacroiliac joint dysfunction)
  • Dru Smith OUT (left Achilles surgery)
  • Andrew Wiggins OUT (right hamstring tendinopathy)

Jaylen Brown highlights a lengthy injury report for the Celtics on Wednesday night. He was questionable to play due to a right knee posterior impingement but has since been upgraded to available. Brown missed the Celtics’ game against the Grizzlies.

There have been a few new additions to the injury report, too. Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis were questionable to play, Holiday with a right shoulder impingement and Porzingis for illness reconditioning. They have since been upgraded to available.

Meanwhile, Al Horford is doubtful to play due to a left big toe sprain.

Jordan Walsh and two-way player Miles Norris are both out after playing in the Maine Celtics’ G League playoff win over the Capital City Go-Go on Tuesday night. However, two-way guys Drew Peterson and JD Davison, who also both played in the game, are questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.

For Miami, Andrew Wiggins is the biggest name on the injury report, as he is out with right hamstring tendinopathy. Duncan Robinson is also out due to a left sacroiliac joint dysfunction. 

On top of that, Kevin LoveNikola Jovic, and Dru Smith are all out as well.
