Chiefs' Kelce Shows Humorous Side in Ridiculous Photo Going Viral

An offseason that started with disappointment has started to turn around for the Kansas City Chiefs. The team took a decisive 40-22 beatdown at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, evaporating the hopes of what would have been a historic "three-peat."

The disappointment of that loss was magnified with the apparent roster changes coming in the offseason. Kansas City had a number of free agents depart and will have to work to replace those pieces.

Above all, the status of Travis Kelce heading into next season took precedent. Rumors surrounding his retirement swirled around during the regular season and many believed another Super Bowl win would have him inclined to go out on top.

That storybook ending obviously did not come to fruition. Kelce had no interest in revealing his decision following the game, but has since announced that he will be back for one more year with Chiefs Kingdom to play out his contract.

Fans, teammates and the entire organization are happy to have him back before he hangs it up for good and eventually claims his spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Before that farewell tour gets started, Kelce is enjoying himself with some off time. Most recently, he hit the links and clearly had a little fun.

In a photo now going viral, Kelce was captured making a silly inappropriate gesture during a round of golf at Pinehurst Resort.

NFL players are always sure to take advantage of this downtime after a grueling 18-week season on top of summers of work. However, Kelce's situation is a bit different.

Constantly mobbed by attention due to his relationship with Taylor Swift, he seemingly never gets a moment out of the spotlight. Moments like these where he truly gets to kick back are valuable to him.

His teammate Patrick Mahomes likely has a similar feel based on his own star power. Nonetheless, Kelce and the rest of the team will want to enjoy the down time of the offseason.

Once they get back to team activities, the pressure is on to maintain their status as the AFC's dominant force.
