Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman's hometown celebrated the three-time Super Bowl champion on Saturday, June 15.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman's Georgia hometown honored their favorite son in the best possible way

The city of Bowman, Georgia hosted a ceremony to honor the achievements of Hardman in the NFL with the Chiefs, and college football with the Georgia Bulldogs, along with his support of the local community. The ceremony included the unveiling and dedication of a statue which pays tribute to all that Hardman has achieved on and off the field.

According to Ashley Cable of 105.3 WGC Radio, you can find the statue at the corner of Hwy. 17 and Hwy. 172 in Bowman Square. The nine-foot-tall granite statue is hard to miss.

Our friend Farzin Vousoughian shared a picture from Hardman's Instagram story on X (formerly Twitter):

On the front of the statue, it features a picture of Hardman and reads:

 "Welcome to Bowman, Georgia

From the Granite Bowl

To the Super Bowl

Home of Mecole Hardman, Jr.

3 Time Super Bowl Champion"

On the back of the statue, some inscriptions indicate all of the honors Hardman has earned as a high school, college, and NFL player. His NFL bio on the statue reads:

"Mecole Hardman, Jr. was selected with the 56th overall pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2019 NFL draft, where he has played in 3 Super Bowls in his first four years in the NFL. Mecole was named to the 2019 NFL Pro Bowl, All Pro and All Rookie Teams and became a Super Bowl LIV, Super Bowl LVII and Super Bowl LVIII champion. He caught the game winning touchdown in Super Bowl LVIII."

They also took a moment to recognize his work off the football field:

"Mecole has supported the youth of Elbert County and students with disabilities by being a member, volunteer, and officer of the friends helping friends club, while attending Elbert County Schools and also during his collegiate and professional career."

The big question regarding the statue: How will they update it to reflect Hardman's future Super Bowl wins with the Chiefs when it's already etched in stone?
