Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice is showing the world how far along he is  as he works his way back from last year's season-ending knee injury.

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice's latest social media post sends strong message about his injury comeback progress

Rice suffered a devastating knee injury against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4, suffering an isolated LCL injury that required surgery. In a February interview, he revealed that he was doing Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training to strengthen his muscle groups and further his knee's range of motion. Now, he's showing some of his progress in his rehab and recovery on social media.

Rice is spending some of his offseason in Davie, Florida, working with Dr. Sharif Tabbah at Alkeme Sports RX, one of the best physical therapists in the sport. The facility specializes in sports physical therapy rehabilitation, injury prevention, performance training, and recovery.

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice shares latest injury update on social media

Rice has been cleared for several football-related activities just six months after his knee injury. The third-year receiver out of SMU shared a video on his page on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, showing that he's working on his lateral movement and releases off the line of scrimmage.

Rice had already recorded two 100-yard receiving games before his injury in 2024. He was on pace for over 1,600 receiving yards and 11 touchdown receptions through a 17-game regular season. Internally, the team thought he'd taken the next step and was on his way to establishing himself as an elite receiver in the NFL.

The injury was a minor setback, inspiring him to strive even further as he rehabilitates. While he can't control the NFL's eventual response to his off-field incident last offseason, Rice's goal is to be healthy and ready to play at the beginning of the 2025 NFL season. Nothing shown in these videos instills any sort of doubt that he's capable of achieving that goal.
