Cincinnati Bengals get great news on star wide receiver before Steelers game

The Cincinnati Bengals expect to have wide receiver Tee Higgins against the Pittsburgh Steelers despite him being listed as questionable with knee and ankle injuries, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Higgins battled through the same injuries a week ago in their win over the Denver Broncos and still went off.

Higgins has gone off against the Steelers whenever he has faced them. He has 37 catches for 644 receiving yards and four touchdowns in seven games against the Steelers. To say the least, Pittsburgh has not been able to slow down Higgins, even if they have dealt with Ja’Marr Chase at times.

Higgins’s size and strength were huge issues for him, especially last time out. Joey Porter Jr. was called for six penalties against the Bengals in the first matchup, with four of those coming against Higgins.

Higgins is going to be part of the engine that will help the Bengals push for a playoff spot if they can overcome the Steelers, but they need to have the Broncos and Miami Dolphins lose as well.
