It’s no secret that the Cincinnati Bengals have one of the most prolific offenses in football. A team led by Joe Burrow is one that is going to succeed, though their defense has held them back in back-to-back seasons.
With the entire list of ratings revealed for Madden NFL 26, the Bengals received high praise. Their defense may not have cracked the Top 10, but that comes as no surprise. Even with Trey Hendrickson arriving at training camp, the offense continues to hold this team together.
Sitting at 92 overall, the Bengals only trail the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens didn’t win the Super Bowl like the Eagles, but EA Sports 99 rating of Lamar Jackson showed exactly how high they think of him. Derrick Henry sat right below him at 98 overall.
Saquon Barkley matched Jackson in the 99 club. Even though Jalen Hurts was the game’s No. 8 ranked quarterback, the Eagles have enough talent on offense to get the job done.

Regardless, the Bengals offense speaks for itself. Burrow was the No. 3 ranked quarterback in the game, even ahead of Patrick Mahomes. Burrow’s 97 rating is two ticks below Ja’Marr Chase, who is also in the 99 club. Chase made history as the first Bengals player to receive that honor.
Cincinnati is one of five teams with an offensive rating of 90 or higher. The other teams to join the list are the Detroit Lions (91) and Buffalo Bills (90). Shockingly, the Super Bowl runners up, Kansas City Chiefs, are No. 6 with an 89 overall.
While it’s only a video game, the ratings committee still knows that each player must be accurately represented. Chase’s 99 rating is no surprise as he’s coming off of a Triple Crown winning season. Elsewhere, Burrow likely would have won the MVP over the likes of Jackson or Josh Allen had the Bengals made the playoffs.
After recently adding Noah Fant, the Bengals offense continues to flourish. Fant will sit behind Mike Gesicki on the depth chart. Gesicki received a 79 rating after tallying 665 yards last season.
Tee Higgins has the fourth highest rating on the team. While he sits behind Trey Hendrickson, his 87 rating is respectable. Burrow’s second favorite target has only played 12 games in back-to-back seasons.
Last year, he vastly improved with 911 yards and 10 touchdowns. Those numbers were up big time from his 2023 totals: 656 yards and 5 touchdowns. Either way, Madden knows Chase is the clear favorite as he has higher numbers in all six categories.
From there, Chase Brown clocks in at an 81 overall. Brown’s 93 speed only puts him behind Chase (95) and DJ Turner II (96). The 25-year-old enters his third season on the team after impressing with 990 yards and 7 touchdowns one season ago.
In his first year back on the team, Samaje Perine will carry a 76 rating. Perine will take over RB2 duties after spending 2023 in Denver and 2024 in Kansas City.
Burrow’s protection runs through Orlando Brown Jr., the highest rated offensive lineman on the team. The 29-year-old sets the tone with an 80 overall, with only eight players on the roster receiving a higher rating.
