The 2024 season has been a long one for the Cleveland Browns and things have not gone as expected. As Week 17 has wrapped up, the Browns now know their home and away opponents for next season.
While the 2025 schedule won’t come out until May of next year, we have all of the teams that the Browns will play. Cleveland will play the AFC East and NFC North, then the fourth place finishes from the AFC West, AFC South, and NFC West.
Take a look at the opponents and more below.
2025 Away Opponents:

• Cincinnati Bengals

2025 Home Opponents:
• Baltimore Ravens

• San Francisco 49ers
Observations:
Despite a fourth-place schedule, there are some pretty tough games on tap for the Browns next season. Looking at the tougher games, the Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings are all teams that the Browns will have to play. The San Francisco 49ers are on the schedule as well and they should bounce back next season.
The Titans are a team that could hold the No. 1 pick next season, as well as the Patriots. Cleveland is competing with both of those teams for the No. 1 pick. If it is the Titans, they could be playing the first quarterback off the board when the Browns see them next season.
All in all, this fourth-place schedule is by no means favorable. The best thing that sticks out initially is that the Browns’ toughest non-divisional game on the road looks to be the Lions. Cleveland will get the Vikings, Packers, and Bills all at home.
Will the Browns play an international game in 2025?
At one point last offseason, it was thought that the Browns would be playing the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil to start the 2024 season. That did not happen and the NFL opted to send the Packers there instead. In hindsight, that was a better choice by the NFL.
The NFL is looking to have up to eight international games played during the 2025 season. Since the Browns did not have one in 2024, there is a good chance they may be a team that travels across seas in 2025. It is already known that Spain and Germany will both host NFL games.
If the Browns are to get an international game, they would likely be forfeiting one of their nine home games since they have an extra this season.
