Cleveland Browns Insider Suggests Shocking NFL Draft Scenario

The Cleveland Browns hold the No. 2 overall pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft, which is scheduled to begin on April 24.

At this point in time, no one knows which direction the Browns will choose to go with the pick. They could take a quarterback in Shedeur Sanders, a wide receiver in Travis Hunter, or a pass rusher in the form of Abdul Carter.

While Carter has been a major buzz in Cleveland, the Browns did just re-sign Myles Garrett to a massive deal. Focusing on turning the offense around would seem to be the wiser choice.

That being said, it's Andrew Berry's decision to make and nothing can be predicted about his mindset right now.

With under a month remaining until the start of the draft, one Cleveland insider has suggested a massive haul in the first round.

Brad Stainbrook of the Orange and Brown Rpt has suggested that if Berry goes with Hunter at No. 2 and Sanders proceeds to slide, he thinks things could get very interest for the Browns.

"If the Browns take Travis Hunter at 2 and Shedeur Sanders starts to slide, I think things could get pretty interesting for Andrew Berry and Cleveland on draft night," he wrote on X.

Basically, he's suggesting that Cleveland could consider trading back up to land Sanders as well.

Following the Colorado Buffaloes' recent pro day, Berry spoke out about wanting both Sanders and Hunter.

“I’d say probably I leave here with, can I have both of them?” Berry said. “We’ll take the whole process into mind. They’re both fantastic players, and we have the next several weeks to sort out all of the different scenarios. But today was a positive touchpoint, really, for both players.”

Perhaps he'll get a chance to make that dream scenario become a reality.
