Commanders Blockbuster Trade Rumors Swirl on $56 Million Star

Mark Andrews could give the Washington Commanders a powerful two-tight end to help Jayden Daniels.

The Baltimore Ravens are at a crossroads, and they know it.

It they want to move Mark Andrews, and get picks in the 2025 NFL Draft in trade?

The clock is ticking.

And we know a team right down the highway is watching.

A player who impressed the Washington Commanders in their first season with the team last year? Zach Ertz is on that list.

The 34-year-old former Super Bowl champion caught 66 passes for 654 yards, and added seven touchdowns. The numbers were the best he has had in an overall season since his last full season with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019.

The Commanders are excited to get Ertz back for another year, but that doesn't mean the organization should simply move past addressing the tight end position.

And the rumors are swirling.

All-Pro Mark Andrews is available ... and the Ravens are now barely hiding it.

What's the Ravens GM saying now? "I never know what's going to happen," Eric DeCosta said at the Ravens' pre-draft news conference. "And I would never want to say this or that. But, I can tell you this: Mark Andrews is a warrior. He's played his butt off for us."

The GM added: "There's always a lot of unpredictability with the draft. You just never know."

Indeed.

Want to boost the security of second-year QB Jayden Daniels?

Andrews and Ertz working together can do that.

A tight-end room with both Andrews and Ertz? Plus Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel at receiver? There is a $56 million price tag to contend with here, but maybe that's negotiable, too.

The rumors make sense. The clock is ticking.
