Commanders Create 3-Headed Monster for Jayden Daniels In Crazy Mock Draft

The Washington Commanders have already added Deebo Samuel to their offensive ranks, but they aren't about to stop there.

The Washington Commanders have done a good job surrounding Jayden Daniels with quality pieces this offseason.

Terry McLaurin needed a running mate, and the franchise signed Deebo Samuel. Left tackle was also a big need, and five-time Pro Bowler Laremy Tunsil was brought in.

So that is two big names coming to help boost a Commanders offense that was one of the best in football last season...but what if the franchise didn't stop there?

In CBS Sports' latest mock, by some miracle, receiver Tetairoa McMillan is available at No. 29, and the Commanders jump at the chance to sign the Arizona star.

"They traded for Deebo Samuel, but he's playing the last year of his deal," CBS Sports writes. "They need a young receiver to help grow with Jayden Daniels. McMillan is a big-bodied receiver who would help."

Now, the odds that McMillan lasts all the way to 29 are next to impossible - crazy, really - but you never know how the draft will fall. For argument's sake, he does; the Commanders will be getting one of the best receivers in the draft.

Yes, Deebo is a great acquisition, but he's a one-year rental. Getting McMillan, who is a matchup nightmare and a superb YAC athlete, the Commanders would create a three-headed monster for Daniels in Year 2.

A smooth mover with elite hands, McMillan can get downfield in a hurry to be the big-bodied receiver the Commanders need, and with McLaurin and Samuel on the field, too, it is truly picking your poison for NFL defenses.

It would nearly seem unfair if McMillan fell to Washington, and if he does, the Commanders passing game will go up a few levels in 2025.
