Commanders' Jayden Daniels Speaks Out on Front Office

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has praised the front office for the bold moves made this offseason.

The Washington Commanders came off a 12-win season last year and made the NFC  Championship game under the new regime of Adam Peters, Dan Quinn, and Jayden Daniels.

But this new-look franchise didn't have any intention of sitting back, they are all gas no brakes in an attempt to bring the sort of success their fans crave, so Peters went about wheeling and dealing this offseason.

Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil were signed via trades, to bolster two key offensive positions for Daniels as he gets an All-Pro receiver and a Pro Bowl left tackle.

And for Daniels, who was speaking on the Gruden Goes Long podcast, gave the front office its flowers for their work this offseason.

"It's a blessing," Daniels said. "It's super exciting because, obviously we want to get better each and every year, and the front office has [done] a great job of trying to figure out how can we get better? Adding a dynamic player like Deebo and adding Laremy, two players that have really been proven in this league for some years. It's awesome. I'm just excited really to get out there and get to work with them and start building that continuity."

Daniels is pleased with the moves, and considering he's still on his rookie contract, there might be more to come as the franchise looks to stay in the Super Bowl conversation for as long as possible.

It was a great first season for Daniels and Washington, but Year 2 looks to be another positive one, but as we know, things rarely go as they are supposed to in the NFL, but Jayden and the Commanders seem to have everything in place to sustain success.

Yes, it is only one year, and we know how quickly things can change but with the additions of Samuel and Tunsil, Washington is swinging for the fences in 2025, and it is clear Daniels is happy with the front office's aggressive mindset to roster building.
