Hostilities will renew in Week 16 of the NFL season for the Washington Commanders as they welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to Northwest Stadium.
With the Eagles winning the Week 11 clash 26-18 relatively easily, the Commanders will want retribution to show that they have improved since then.
Of course, this contest also has a playoff element, with Washington aiming to boost its chances of securing its playoff seeding and the Eagles looking at the No. 1 seed in the NFC, so there's plenty on the line for both teams.
And Commanders head coach Dan Quinn wants all the smoke that comes with the rivalry.
"A really cool week to be back in the division and in the NFC East," Quinn said. "Philadelphia has been the heavy hitters so far this season in the division, so great challenge for us, and we're pumped to be able to get them back here at home, the fans, and get rocking."
The Commanders are now on a two-game winning streak having gone three weeks without a win prior, and Quinn has stated to his team several times about beginning the mountain climb from base camp.
With so much good already done this season, the last three weeks are pivotal in Washington consolidating its work. However, it isn't starting from scratch, with a 9-5 record proving that Quinn's team does have some venom.
Coming up against what some call the best team in the NFC will be a tough challenge for the Commanders, but being at home and with a chance to improve their odds of making the playoffs.
It's a big division game, late in the season, with playoff implications - just as Quinn and his Commanders like it.
