Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb Reveals 'Eye-Popping' Brian Schottenheimer Trait

Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb is ready to get rocking with Brian Schottenheimer.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer has made quite the impact already within the franchise as the staff he has put together looks good on paper.

But we haven't heard too many players speak on Schottenheimer being the new head coach and offensive play-caller...until now.

CeeDee Lamb, who has worked closely with Schotty in the past two seasons, will now see a different side of Brian as the pair will no doubt work closely together to get this offense up and rolling with Dak Prescott in 2025.

But what does Lamb think of Schottenheimer now that he's in the big chair in Dallas?

”Very high energy guy,” Lamb said via sportslens.com. “Obviously those things you would not see. Sometimes you would see it on film, you’d see him on the sideline. We make a big play, he is definitely there celebrating with you and everyone loves the player’s coach.

“I don’t really care who you are, but as much as your coach is involved in the team and understanding, the more he is around, the more we can connect, talk, and be on the same page. For starters, that’s one of the things that was eye-popping. He’s always involved and he’s continuing to look to be better.”

So that is yet another glowing endorsement of Schotty, and given it has come from 88, that carries serious weight.

With a big emphasis on running the football and dominating the line of scrimmage, to then use play-action off of that, the Cowboys will have a different way of doing things in 2025, and no doubt Lamb will be at the center of it.

There has been a clear directive from Schottenheiemer and his staff to develop relationships with the players and then build out their football relationship from there, and it's clear that CeeDee and Schotty click.

When Schottenheimer was announced as head coach, there was a lot of pushback, but as the weeks go by, more and more are softening their stance.

If CeeDee and Dak are excited and on board, two of the franchise's top players are itching to work with Schottenheimer.

They're excited, and frankly, so are we.
