Cowboys' George Pickens Reveals One Major Key In Dak Prescott Connection

Dallas Cowboys receiver George Pickens is having himself some sort of offseason, and as the training camp grind continues, he and Dak Prescott have been getting after Matt Eberflus' defense.

With Pickens now seemingly hitting his stride, to the point were in practice, he hauled in three touchdown passes on three different plays, the versatility of No. 3 is on show.

Not just a guy to send deep, Pickens is showing his vast array of skills, and it helps when you have a quarterback like Prescott who can get you the ball.

But given that Pickens and Dak have only been teammates for a couple of months, what is the key to their relationship and chemistry already being on point?

"I probably say learning the plays," Pickens said. "Plug-and-play type deal. Long as you get a guy in here that's going to learn the plays, I'm pretty sure [the] connection is going to be great."

And it is clear Pickens is learning Brian Schottenheimer's playbook and the results have been telling.

Yes, we get it, it's training camp, but there hasn't been a day when Pickens hasn't done something good that makes you think he could really develop into something in Schottenheimer's scheme.

Much was made of the move for Pickens and what it could do not only for Dak but also for CeeDee Lamb, and we are seeing that play out in Oxnard. It's going to be difficult to cover both, which means someone is getting open.

And with Prescott's connection with George in a good spot, No. 3 might be set for quite the season in 2025.
