Cowboys' Micah Parsons 'Hurt' Then Hyped Over 'Not Love Football' Draft Pick

New Dallas Cowboy Tyler Booker has made quite the impression on Micah Parsons.

For most, the Dallas Cowboys' selection of Alabama guard Tyler Booker was an underwhelming pick given the need for receiver help.

But the selection of Booker, a physical monster who plays with grit and power, and will step into the right guard position vacated by the retiring Zack Martin, shores up the right-hand side.

Micah Parsons was the subject of several memes after his less-than-impressed instant reaction to Booker's pick, but on the Bleacher Report's Draft Show, Micah got to hear Tyler speak.

And he's hyped.

Booker's quote pre-draft, "I make guys not love football anymore," was brought up, and the new Cowboy detailed exactly what that looks and feels like on the ground.

"It feels great," Booker said. "Football is a child's game, they get excited, so excited to play football, until they come across Tyler Booker. When I'm going after you, quarter after quarter, play after play, series after series, and I start to see that love leave their eyes, that's what makes me love the game."

This sent Micah into a hyped-up frenzy, to which he yelled, "Welcome to the team!"

So Parsons is clearly on board with the Booker pick, and it is going to make for a great training camp battle between the All-Pro and the rookie in Oxnard.

Seen as another piece to Brian Schottenheimer's vision of changing the culture and bringing in a player who has the character and leadership traits he is looking for, Booker wasn't a sexy pick, but perhaps it was a smart one.

Not everyone agrees, and that is fine, but with an emphasis on running the football, Dallas got another brute of a lineman who loves punishing people and taking their will to fight back.

And that, my friends, is a great character to have in the locker room.
