Cowboys New QB, Joe Milton’s 'Josh Allen Traits' Go Viral Again

If you needed any more proof that Joe Milton’s arm isn’t just strong - it’s generational, - the internet gave you another reminder this week.

Cowboys New QB, Joe Milton’s 'Josh Allen Traits' Go Viral Again

Arm strength alone doesn't serve as any sort of precursor to success, but at the very least it's nice to know that current superstars in the NFL like Josh Allen had eerily similar strengths, issues, and questions marks that Joe Milton had when they entered the league.

A clip surfaced from Joe's time with the New England Patriots last season, showing Milton making a ridiculous, off-platform throw that looks more like a rocket launch than a pass.

Power. Precision. Evasion. You can’t coach that.

And that’s just scratching the surface.

Before the Orange Bowl at Tennessee, Milton casually threw a literal orange 100 yards. Yes—an orange. He also flicked a football 85 yards with relative ease. That’s not exaggeration. That’s documented.

Coming out of Tennessee, scouts compared his raw tools and arm power to Josh Allen and Justin Herbert—and that wasn’t just lazy comp work. The physical gifts are that real.

Yes, the consistency and touch still need refining. But throws like these? You can’t teach this kind of juice.

The Dallas Cowboys on Thursday didn’t just trade for a developmental backup; they grabbed one of the most uniquely talented arms the league has seen in a long time.

And now, the 6-5, 250-pound second-year man Milton gets to sit behind Dak Prescott and develop in peace. Making just $1 million per year for the next three years.

Not much pressure. A lot of potential.

The viral videos are out there.

The arm talent is real. The upside is wild. And Joe Milton just gave the football world another reason to pay attention.
