Cowboys Superstar Under Fire For Confrontation With Reporter Outside Locker Room

Emotions were high for Dallas Cowboys players after their frustrating 30-24 loss Sunday night to the San Francisco 49ers. The Cowboys playoff hopes are in trouble after their record fell to 3-4 before a challenging schedule in November.

A video has appeared on social media of cornerback Trevon Diggs confronting WFAA's Mike Leslie about a post on X the reporter made during the Cowboys game on Sunday night.

Leslie quote posted a video of a play where 49ers tight end George Kittle made a long catch and run from the Cowboys' 40-yard line to the four-yard line. Diggs wasn't initially in coverage on Kittle, but the All-Pro had a chance to take a better pursuit angle to keep the star tight end from advancing so deep in the red zone.

However, Diggs wasn't running at full speed, and he wound up getting behind Kittle before attempting to shove him out of bounds.

"What is Trevon Diggs doing on this play," Leslie asked in his post.

Diggs wasn't amused by Leslie's post.

"Out of that whole play, that's what you got from that," Diggs asked Leslie right outside of the visiting locker room at Levi's Stadium, per a video posted by Joseph Hoyt of DLLS Cowboys.

Diggs was trying to make the point that he wasn't responsible for giving up the 43-yard play, even if he wanted to deflect from his choice of speed on the pursuit angle.

Leslie asked Diggs if he wanted to answer more questions about the play.

"We can talk about deez nuts," Diggs responded in frustration.
